The Gold Coast airport is located 25 kilometres south of the Griffith University Gold Coast campus. Gold Coast Airport provides domestic and international direct flights to and from New Zealand, Singapore, Tokyo, Seoul, Malaysia, and Japan. The Airport Shuttle Skybus and public transportation on the TransLink integrated network are both options for transfers from the Gold Coast Airport.More international and domestic flights are available at Brisbane Airport (https://www.bne.com.au/), which is located one hour north of Griffith GC campus. There are several transfer options available from Brisbane Airport to the Gold Coast, including the Airtrain (a two-hour train ride with a change at Helensvale station) and the Con-x-ion shuttle bus.

Gold Coast University Hospital Tram Station is 2min walk from the conference venue Building G40. The tram is operated by G:Link. To pay for fares on all public transportation from/to the Gold Coast, a Go Card must be purchased. Fares for public transportation have been reduced to a 50-cent flat rate across all zones and modes on the Translink network throughout Queensland. This includes all regional urban buses, as well as bus, train, ferry, tram, and on-demand services throughout South East Queensland. Airtrain fares have been reduced, with tickets starting at $10.95 during this time.

The 50 cent flat fare applies to all:

•                         Queensland Rail City Train services
•           Buses (excluding dedicated school buses)
•                         Brisbane City ferries and Southern Moreton Bay Island Ferry
•           Trams
•            On demand services.
